What is the difference between SUS410 material and 304 stainless steel
304 and SUS410 are both grades of stainless steel, and are essentially stainless steel. We distinguish the two stainless steel materials from their chemical composition, physical properties, mechanical properties, grades of various countries, characteristic uses, and heat treatment systems.
Martensite: Overview of SUS410 stainless
1Cr13: Anti-oxidation temperature has certain oxidation resistance and high high temperature strength within the temperature range of 700~800℃, and can be used for high temperature parts of turbine blades, nozzles, and boiler burner valves
Features:
1) High strength;
2) Excellent machinability
3) Hardened after heat treatment;
4) Magnetic;
5) Not suitable for harsh corrosive environments.
410 stainless steel applicable range: general blades, mechanical parts, Class 1 tableware (spoons, forks, knives, etc.).
Austenite type: 304 stainless steel overview
0Cr18Ni9: Anti-oxidation temperature below 870℃, can be used as boiler heating surface pipes, heating furnace parts, heat exchangers, muffle furnaces, converters, nozzles
Features:
1) Excellent processing performance;
2) Excellent welding performance;
3) Strong corrosion resistance to oxidizing acids, and also has certain corrosion resistance to alkali solutions and most organic and inorganic acids;
4) Wide range of application temperature (-196 ℃~800℃);
5) Non-magnetic in solid solution state;
6) Good gloss on cold-rolled products.
304 stainless steel is the most widely used stainless heat-resistant steel, used in food equipment, general chemical equipment, atomic energy industry, etc.
