South Korea imposes temporary anti-dumping duties of 3.66%-11.37% on Vietnamese cold-rolled stainless steel
On December 19, 2024, the Ministry of Finance of South Korea announced its decision to impose temporary anti-dumping duties of 3.66% to 11.37% on cold-rolled stainless steel coils from Vietnam. The move is aimed at preventing damage to the domestic industry during the investigation.
Among them, the anti-dumping duty rate imposed on Yongjin Metal Technology (Vietnam) and its affiliated manufacturers/exporters is 3.66%, the duty rate imposed on TVL Co., Ltd., TVL Steel Production and Construction Co., Ltd. and its affiliated manufacturers/exporters is 11.37%, and the duty rate imposed on other suppliers is 4.79%.
This temporary measure will take effect on December 19, 2024 and will be valid for four months, until April 18, 2025.
The Korean tax numbers of the cold-rolled stainless steel products involved are: 7219.31.1010, 7219.31.1090, 7219.31.9000, 7219.32.1010, 7219.32.1090, 7219.32.9000, 7219.33.1010, 7219.33.1090, 7219.33.9000, 7219.34.1010, 7219.34.1090, 7219.34.9 000, 7219.35.1010, 7219.35.1090, 7219.35.9000, 7219.90.1010, 7219.90.1090, 7219.90.9000, 7220.20.1010, 7220.20.1090, 7220.20.9000, 7220.90.1010, 7220.90.1090 and 7220.90.9000.

Cold-rolled Stainless Steel
Stainless steel coils are divided into austenite, ferrite, martensite, duplex (ferrite-austenite) stainless steel cold rolled coils and stainless steel hot rolled coils.

Stainless steel cold-rolled coil: thickness 0.1-3.0 width 500 or 1600 (including burrs)
