Mexico launches second sunset review of anti-dumping investigation on stainless steel sinks from China
On May 8, 2025, the Mexican Ministry of Economy announced that, at the request of Mexican companies Cocinas Modulares, S.A. de C.V. and E.B. Técnica Mexicana, S.A. de C.V., it launched the second sunset review of anti-dumping investigation on stainless steel sinks (weight not exceeding 8 kg) (Spanish: fregaderos de acero inoxidable) originating from China.
The dumping investigation period of this case is from April 1, 2024 to March 31, 2025, and the damage investigation period is from April 1, 2020 to March 31, 2025. The TIGIE tax number of the product involved is 7324.10.01. During the investigation of the case, the current anti-dumping duties will remain in effect. The announcement will take effect from the day after it is issued.

On May 8, 2015, Mexico made an affirmative final ruling on the case. It began to impose anti-dumping duties on Chinese producers/exporters, including Taizhou Luqiao Jixiang Kitchenware Co., Ltd., at $4.14/kg and other Chinese producers/exporters at $5.40/kg. Subsequently, Mexico conducted a sunset review and made an affirmative ruling on June 7, 2021, and extended the duty period.
