How to forge ASTM A276 stainless steel bar?
1、Raw material preparation: Select high-quality stainless steel billets to ensure that the chemical composition meets the standards.
2、Hot rolling or cold drawing: The billets are processed into bars by hot rolling or cold drawing.
3、Solution treatment: The bars are heated to 1010°C-1120°C and then quickly cooled to eliminate internal stress and improve corrosion resistance.
4、Surface treatment of ASTM A276 stainless steel bar: Bright annealing, wire drawing, sandblasting or polishing according to customer needs.

ASTM A276 410 is a martensitic stainless steel, a magnetic stainless steel, and complies with the ASTM A276 standard.
ASTM A276 type 410 material has a high yield strength, and the yield strength after cold working can reach 345Mpa-1420Mpa. After heat treatment at 440℃, the yield strength can even reach 1900Mpa.
The tolerance requirements of ASTM A276 for stainless steel bars mainly include tolerances of size and shape. Dimensional tolerance: ASTM A276 specifies the dimensional tolerances of stainless steel bars, including the allowable deviations of diameter, length and wall thickness. These deviations apply to hot-worked or cold-worked stainless steel bars, but do not include bars for heavy forging.
Shape tolerance: The standard also specifies the shape tolerances of bars, including the allowable deviations of shapes such as round, square, hexagonal, etc. These tolerances ensure the stability and stability of the bars during processing and use.
